How paying for your FranklyTho order works: which methods you can use, when you're charged and what happens if something goes wrong.

1. Accepted payment methods

You can pay with the methods shown at checkout. Depending on your country and device, these can include:

  • PayPal, including paying by card through PayPal where PayPal offers it
  • Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay, whenever they appear at checkout

We don't accept cash, cheques or bank transfers unless that option is shown at checkout.

2. Security

Payments are processed securely by Shopify and our payment providers over encrypted connections. We never see or store your full card details. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with 3D Secure, for example through your banking app or a code by SMS. This is a standard extra check required in the EU.

3. When you're charged

Your payment is authorised and taken when you place your order. Your order is confirmed once payment is successful and you've received our confirmation email. If payment fails, the order isn't placed. Please try again or use another method.

Your bank may briefly show a "pending" amount. This isn't an extra charge, and it disappears according to your bank's timing.

4. Prices, currency and taxes

  • Prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable.
  • If you shop in another currency, the price is converted at checkout and you're charged in that currency. Your bank may add its own conversion or foreign-transaction fees, which we don't control.
  • Standard shipping is free. Import duties for countries outside the EU are explained in our Shipping policy.
  • The full total is always shown before you pay.

5. Discount codes

Enter discount codes at checkout. Each code has its own conditions, such as expiry date or minimum quantity. Codes can't be added after an order has been placed.

6. Invoices

Your order confirmation email is your receipt. Need an invoice with your company or VAT details? Email hello@franklytho.com with your order number and billing details.

7. Refunds

Refunds go back to the original payment method, as explained in our Refund policy. Your bank or PayPal may take a few business days to show the money once we've sent it.

8. Fraud prevention

To protect you and us, orders are automatically checked for fraud. In rare cases we may contact you to verify an order, or cancel it with a full refund if we can't verify it.

9. Payment problems or disputes

Charged twice, or see a payment you don't recognise? Email hello@franklytho.com with your order number before opening a dispute with your bank or PayPal. We'll usually fix it faster.
